HATHA YOGA
Improves physical strength, flexibility and balance; tones the bodies systems. Joins the qualities of breath,
mind and body. Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and meditation provide release of mental and physical
tension, aiding focus and concentration.
REMEDIAL YOGA
Remedial yoga addresses the condition at all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. With its
basis in the restorative and energising power of the breath, remedial yoga addresses incorrect breathing
habits and frees the breath. Coupled with gentle postural movements, modifications to traditional yoga
poses and supported restorative poses, remedial yoga is cost effective and empowering. It can be
performed seated in chairs if necessary. Gain without strain and learn to manage chronic pain, chronic
fatigue, insomnia, anxiety. Suited to those recovering from illness, injury or with disabilities. Supportive
of so many health issues.
ONE TO ONE OR SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
Yoga; Deep Relaxation or Meditation tuition, tailored to specific needs of the individual, couples or groups of 3 or 4. Can provide a personalised remedial yoga programme for each participant after 6 yoga sessions.
YOGA AT WORK OR PLAY
Business For those in this environment, yoga can help to restore mental clarity, improve posture and release daily tensions. Classes can be provided in the workplace – stretch, breathe and release!
Tradespeople Targets the occupational health concerns of builders, brickies, plumbers, electricians,
painters, tilers, landscape gardeners, labourers and handymen. Can participate in either general,
remedial or private classes.
Sports For those involved in any sport. Develops stamina, improves upper body flexibility, strengthens
legs and hips, improves balance focus and concentration. Useful for supporting and gaining mobility after
injury. Workshops or specific class tuition for organisations can be facilitated.
WORKSHOPS
Can be facilitated tailored to the specific needs of a group or organisation e.g. Stress Management.
RELAXATION/MEDITATION
Guided imagery practice done lying down, yoga nidra promotes a sense of very deep rest, peace and
spontaneous healing. The body lets go of physical tensions, the mind becomes calm and clear.
40 min class can be booked for single, couples or small group. Session includes gentle breathing and
relaxation or meditation tuition and practice. Relaxation CD available for home use.
